When you come home late at night and put the car in the garage, the last thing you want is to turn your headlights off and step out of the car into total darkness. Not only can it then take you 10 minutes to get out of the garage but it can also become a safety hazard.
Fortunately every Ryterna garage door operator comes as standard with an operating light. As soon as the garage door is operated the light automatically comes on and will use the internal timer to turn off again. Whilst the light will not completely illuminate the garage, it does provide sufficient enough light to safely manoeuvre around the garage.
The garage door light will automatically turn on whether you use a remote control operator, key pad or push button to open the door. Some control panels will allow additional lights to be programmed to the panel if additional lighting is required.
Ryterna garage doors are specifically designed so that every door can be used either manually or by means of automation. When taking orders for doors it is very common for customers to say they only want a manual door only for them to change their mind several weeks later.
With all Ryterna doors being prepared for either manual or electric operation as standard there is no problem if you decide you want a motor once your door is already in place. Confirmation of the headroom clearance needs to be clarified before purchasing a motor to ensure you have sufficient clearance.
Assuming there are no constraints with your headroom the installation of a garage door operator to an already installed door is very simple. Every garage door operator has a control box, motor and track which are installed and commissioned using a common British standard plug system. The control panel can be mounted in a suitable position and comes as standard with an operating light.
Ryterna are one of only a few companies that offer a complete full surround weather seal as standard on all doors.
As well as providing a compressed bottom edge weather seal, Ryterna include a weather seal on each vertical track side as well as an upper weather seal lintel section.
To further reduce the possible intrusion of wind and water, Ryterna also offer a weather seal in between every joining door panel. This ensures that even when the door is in operation the rubber seal restricts the intrusion of the outdoor elements.
Whilst the bottom edge of the door offers a compressed weather seal, in areas where the ingress of rain water is a persistent problem an additional weather strip can be positioned on the floor to assist this problem.
Unlike more conventional garage doors the Ryterna range of sectional garage doors are designed to combat the effects of heat loss. The combination of a 40mm insulated panel and a complete surround weather seal ensures any internal heat generated is preserved.
The complete surround weather seal is also accompanied by an additional weather seal that is positioned between the connection points of each panel. These seals not only ensure the internal warm air is limited from escaping but they also prevent the intrusion of wind and rain entering the garage.
As well as providing these excellent insulating values the Ryterna range of 40mm insulated panels also assist in reducing noise. Whether it is reducing the sound of next doors lawn mower or simply retaining the noise of the budding young drummers practice session in the garage, the Ryterna range of doors offer a one stop solution.
